95. Criticism should be constructive:

In 1934, a pracharak visited a shakha and then wrote a visit-report.  In it he wrote: "I felt that this shakha was only a "Vyayama Shaala" (Gymnastic Club) and not a shakha."

When P.P.Doctorjee said: "Well, the shakha had absolutely no "Bouddhik" or any other programs.  All they did was exercise.”

P.P.Doctorjee gently admonished the pracharak that he should have then said that the shakha had no Bouddhik programs. The report, in the way it had been written, would cause pain and anger if the swayamsevaks from that shakha read it. It is perfectly OK to criticize, but the criticism should be constructive, so that improvement (and not anger) is the result.
